Malcolm Dale Carter, 64

Malcolm Dale Carter age 64 of Lula entered heaven on Wednesday Sept. 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Dale was born December 10, 1955 in Burkesville, Ky to Rebecca Grant Carter Melton and the late Malcolm Carter. He retired from Banks County as an Environmental Health Specialist. Dale was a Deacon at Liberty Baptist Church where he was a faithful member. He loved anything Kentucky Wildcats, but especially Kentucky Basketball. Dale was a true family man and treasured making memories with his wife and family. He was an outdoorsman, loving deer hunting and talking about the hunt. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include; his loving wife Carol M. Carter; son and daughter in law Chris and Katlyn Carter; daughter and son in law Jessica and Steve Payne; grandchildren Chance, Skylar, Myla, Riley Rae and Beau; mother Rebecca Melton; sister and brother in law Joyce and Freeman West; several aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held Sunday September 6, 2020 at the Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Stewart and Mr. Ken Morrison officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends on Saturday September 5, 2020 at the Ward’s Funeral Home 758 Main Street S.W.  Gainesville, GA 30501.
