Ruby Rodgers, 67, of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Russell County Hospital.
She was born June 23, 1951 in Adair County to the late Oscar and Mary Pearl Nelson Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Odell Baker, and one sister, Edith Brown. Ruby attended Pickett’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired supervisor of Osh Kosh B’Gosh.
Her survivors include her husband, Danny Joe Rodgers of Columbia; one son – Byron (Erica) Rodgers of Columbia; two daughters, Shelley (Shawn) Phillips and Misty (Jarrod) Willis both of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Jayden and Trevor Willis, Christgen and Jenna Rodgers, Byron and Ryder Rodgers, and Maddox and Addison Phillips; one brother, Ronnie Baker of Columbia; two sisters, Becky (Bradley) Bean of Louisville and Tena (Telsie) Fudge of Breeding; and several other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating
Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery.
The casket bearers were Wade Rodgers, Steven Baker, Jayden Willis, Trevor Willis, Byron Rodgers, and Christgen Rodgers.
