Royce Campbell
Royce Leland Campbell, 87, of Windsor died Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home. He was born October 5, 1931 in Pulaski County to the late Finis and Bina Bernard Campbell.
Royce was a farmer, truck driver, and the founder of Royce Campbell & Sons Trucking. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Bradley’s Pleasure Baptist Church.
His survivors include his wife, Phyllis Pierce Campbell of Windsor; two sons, Roger (Yvonne) Campbell and Ronnie (Mary Beth) Campbell both of Windsor; three grandchildren, Scottie (Kandi) Campbell, Lindsey (Corey) Scott, and McKinsey (Colton) Matney; and three great grandchildren, Gavin Scott Campbell, Adlee Campbell Scott, and Landree Lane Matney.
Royce was a man loved by all and really enjoyed helping people. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be truly missed.
The funeral service for Royce Leland Campbell was at 10 AM. CST. on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Molden and Bro. Mike Caudill officiating.
The visitation was at 5-8 PM. (CST) on Sunday and after 8 AM. (CST) Monday.
Interment was in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset.
The special music was by Mary Ruth Campbell.
The pallbearers were Paul Roberts, Paul Hill, Bill White, Randy Pierce, Wendell Terwillger, and Joe Gossage.
