Marilyn McCawley

Marilyn McCawley, 75, of Columbia, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her home.

She was born September 7, 1943 in Jeffersonville, Ind. to the late Clarence Gilbert and Sylvia Cornell Jenkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Norris McCawley.

Marilyn was a member of Bloomington Chapel Church and a personal caregiver.

Her survivors include one son, Shawn McCawley of Columbia; five daughters, Edith McCawley of New Albany, Ind., Cathy McCawley, Anita Napier, Cynthia (Troy) Harris, and Sonja Lausterer all of Columbia; one brother, Clarence “Butch” Jenkins of Jeffersonville, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. L.C. McCawley officiating .

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
