Travis Corbin

Travis Corbin, 83, of Knifley died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 5:21 A.M. at his home.

He was born May 21, 1935, in Adair County, to the late Willie and Hallie Bottoms Corbin. He was also preceded in death by one brother; Paul Corbin and two sisters; Arlene Brothers and Imogene Corbin.

Travis was a member and Deacon of Knifley Christian Church, retired from Parker Kalon, and served two terms on the Adair County School Board.

His survivors include his wife, Glenna Bryant Corbin of Knifley; one daughter, Marsha (Barry) Bennett of Columbia; two sons, Mitchell Corbin of Elizabethtown and Perry (Becky) Corbin of Ashland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Scott Bennett, Leslie Rogers, and Ty Bennett; five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Addie, and Cooper Bennett, and Bryant and Hudson Rogers; and several other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Hugh Withers officiating.

Burial was in the Haven Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated and can be made at the funeral home.

The honorary casket bearers were Charles Shirley, John Peckinpaugh, Nolan Cole, Travis Hatfield, Jimmy Turner, Charlie Shields, Cebert Sherrill, and Josh Bullock.
