Betty Cross Drabik Palmer, 71, of Columbia died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at home after a long illness.
Betty was born on November 19, 1947 in Kalkaska, Mi. to the late Avery and Alice Stacey Cross. Betty was a waitress for many years in area restaurants, including Midtown Café and Circle R Restaurant.
Betty is survived by her husband, David E. Palmer; one daughter, Beverly A. Drabik; one son-in-law, Joseph Kremer; three grandsons, Austin Morey and David J. Palmer of Adair County, and Michael Drabik of Gaylord, Mi.; and six siblings, Connie Thornell, Junior Austin, Donna (Marv) Robbins, Loretta (Ray) Gensen, Gladys (Leslie) Ballard, and Larry (Carol) Cross, all of Michigan.
Betty chose cremation, and a small gathering for family and friend celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
