Paul Grant, 84, of Breeding, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 4:20 P.M. at the T.J. Health Columbia Emergency Room.
He was born January 29, 1934 in Adair County to the late Conda and Annie Burbridge Grant. He was a member of Breeding United Methodist Church, a retired school bus driver, a founding member of the Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department and a former farmer, truck driver and sawmill worker.
His survivors include his wife, Marlene Patterson Grant of Breeding; one son, Wendell (Donna) Grant of Breeding; two daughters, Paula (David) Bell of Glasgow and Sheila (Dan) Lawhorn of Breeding; one sister, Jewell Sneed of Columbia; six grandchildren, Alison Burton, Chris Grant, Stephanie Alford, Ashley Fudge, Brittany Bell, and Blake Lawhorn; six great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
The funeral service is on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Fudge and Bro. Ronnie Janes officiating.
Burial is in Fudge Cemetery in Breeding.
The casket bearers are Chris Grant, Blake Lawhorn, Dale Hurt, Walter Pelston, Roger Lacy, Danny Grant, and Darrell Sneed.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
