Uriel C. Sparks

Uriel C. Sparks, 88, of Louisville, formerly of Adair County, passed away Tuesday August 21, 2018 at the Hosparus in Patient Care Center in Louisville. He was born in March 1930, the son of the late W. B. “Bertress and Onie C. Hayes Sparks of Adair County. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Buster Sparks and Don Sparks; two sisters, Thera Reliford and Enola Davidson; and his granddaughter, Sabra Scroggin.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Sparks; his children, Valerie Worthen and J.R. Sparks; his stepchildren, Laura Scroggin and Steve Branham; and many grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen by the family.

Evergreen Funeral Home 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
