Don Burton, age 55, of Center, died Friday, August 28, 2009 at his home.
He was the son of the late Finis and Jewell Burton. He was a disabled farmer and member of Gods House Church at Knob Lick.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Roberts and one grandchild, Heather Nicole Simpson.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Rhinehart Burton; three sons: David (Ivy) Simpson of Hiseville, Cleston (Angie) Simpson of Indiana and Billy (Angela) Simpson of Knob Lick; three brothers: Coy Burton and Kenny Burton, both of Columbia and Joseph Burton of Exie. Four grandchildren: Kelly Davis, Landon, Bailey and Gracie Simpson also survive.
Funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton.
Burial was in the Clack Cemetery at Knob Lick.
