INFANT TREATED After THREE-VEHICLE CRASH
A young infant was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital by the Adair County EMS following a three-vehicle collision on Campbellsville Road Tuesday afternoon. The infant, a passenger in a vehicle being operated by Jason Davidson of Russell Springs, was treated and released following the crash, which occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. in front of Harvey-Ellis Motors. According to a release from the Columbia Police Department, the accident occurred when a 2004 pickup being operated by Jonathan Roy of Liberty was traveling north on Campbellsville Road when he struck a 2003 Ford Explorer being operated by Jason Davidson, which was stopped in traffic. The Davidson vehicle then struck a 2000 Ford Explorer being operated by Robert Phillips of Campbellsville which was also stopped in traffic. All persons involved were wearing seat belts. The accident was investigated by CPD Officer Josh Brockman with assistance from other CPD officers, Deputy Sheriff Aaron Rainwater and the Adair County EMS.
