Ann Russell

Ann Russell, 75, a resident of Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, formerly of the Millerfield community, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 10:40 p.m. at Russell County Hospital.
She was a daughter of the late James B. and Lorraine Poe Hankins, the widow of Wayne Russell and a member of Tabernacle Christian Church.
She is survived by one son, Phillip (Cheryl) Russell of Somerset; one daughter, LouAnn Russell of Jamestown; two brothers: James B. Hankins of Oxford, MS and Evan Hankins of Pensacola, FL; three sisters: Sue Gilliam of Memphis, TN, Pat Shields of Oxford, MS, and Cindy Hankins of England; five grandchildren: Carrie Ann McQueary, Glen Parker, Mandi Napier, Tiffany James, and Heather Parker; six great-grandchildren: Mackenzi Withers, Hagen McQueary, Isaiah Parker, Austin Napier, Kasia Parker, and Jed Newcomb.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Eldon Rucker and Bro. Raymond Martin officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were: Barney Bernard, Barkley Hancock, Kirby Hancock, Kevin Robertson, Amos Gaskin, and Jonathan Gaskin.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
