Jerry Allen Padgett

Jerry Allen Padgett, age 65 years, of 11000 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 9:05 a.m. at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room.
Born on February 2, 1944, he was the son of the late Charlie and Gladys Kerns Padgett. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Parker on July 9, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Roberts Padgett of Columbia, KY; four sons: Ricky Padgett of Columbia, KY, Jeff Padgett of Russell Springs, KY, Jerry Lynn Padgett of Columbia, KY and Larry Joe Padgett of Columbia, KY; one daughter, Sue McQueary of Russell Springs, KY; three sisters: Corrine Allen and Marlene Allen of Indianapolis, IN and Ina Norman of Columbia, KY; one brother Rollin Kerns of Columbia, KY. Twenty-three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
He was a Timber Cutter.
Funeral service was held Friday, January 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. J. Richard Lehman and Bro. Ralph Foster officiating.
Interment in New Hope Cemetery.
