Dean Pyles

Dean Pyles, age 51 years, of 16734 Liberty Road, the Pellyton Community, Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 8:05 P. M. at his home after an illness.
He was the son of the late Johnny and Ellen Rosie Sallee Pyles. He was born on February 19, 1958.
He is survived by one son, Scottie Dean Pyles and his wife Maria M. of Columbia, KY; one daughter, Lavina Michella Pyles of Columbia, KY; five brothers: Travis Pyles and his wife Imogene, Randall Pyles and his wife Odene, Gleason Pyles and his wife Tina, all of Columbia, KY, Billy Pyles of Russell Springs, KY and Tommy Pyles and his wife, Pat of Florida; four sisters: Shirley Brown and her husband Edward, Norma Miller and her husband Dean of Columbia, KY, Kay Wethington of Horse Cave, KY and Joyce Giles and her husband Charles of Columbia, KY; four grandchildren and a special niece, Jill Grider. Several nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Dewayne Pyles in 1980; also by one sister and four brothers: Paulette Gabehart, Donald Ray Pyles, Johnnie Keith Pyles, J. D. Pyles and Teddy Pyles.
He was a member of Sanders Ridge Separate Baptist Church, was a logger and a mechanic.
Graveside service was held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery Clergy with Bro. Steve Corbin and Bro. David Asberry officiating.
Interment followed in New Hope Cemetery.
