Oconal Tucker

Oconal Tucker, age 90 years, a resident of Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center in Columbia, KY formerly of the Knifley Community passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.
He was the son of the late: Leslie Ewing and Serenia (Goodin) Tucker of Adair Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gussie Emma Perkins Tucker on July 10, 1999; one son, Herman Tucker in 2004 and two daughters: Joene Tucker in 2005 and Norma Jean Tucker many years ago, one brother, Donnie Tucker and one sister, Donnie Burton.
He is survived by two daughters: Treva Warren of Knifley, KY and Mae Sneed of Knifley, KY; two sons: Sam Tucker of Knifley, KY and Danny Tucker of Campbellsville, KY; two brothers: L. J. Tucker of Knifley, KY and Roscoe Tucker of Pellyton, KY; and one sister, Geneva Fair of Greensburg, KY. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and five great- great grandchildren.
Mr. Tucker was a member of the Dunbar Hill Community Church and a retired sawyer for several saw mills.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Tucker officiating.
Interment in the Robinson Chapel Cemetery at Knifley, KY.
