Wanda Elaine Dicken
Wanda Elaine Dicken, 59, of Celina, Tennessee, formerly of the Bow Community in Cumberland County, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, Tennessee. She was born on Thursday, December 15, 1949 in Cumberland County, Kentucky, the daughter of McKinley Dicken and Beulah Mae Wray Dicken Murphy. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Celina, Tennessee. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, John Murphy, paternal grandparents, Gwinn and Mary Dicken, maternal grandparents, John and Clara Wray, uncles, Barlow Garner, John L. Dicken, Leon Dicken, Leslie "Buddy" Wray and an aunt, Eula Garner. Survivors include her mother, Beulah Mae Wray Murphy of Burkesville, brothers, John (and Tara) Murphy of Bowling Green, Charles Murphy of Bloomington, Indiana, sisters, Freda A. (and Norman) Thompson of Celina, Tennessee, Samantha Jean (and Keith) Monday of Burkesville and Audrey Murphy of Columbia, nieces and nephews, Misty Sells, Christina Taylor, Savanna Monday, Madison Monday, Cassandra Thompson, Kiona Hadley, Tanner Monday, Caleb Thompson, Kai Hadley, great nieces and nephews, Brett Laci Sells, Dakota Taylor, Matthew Sells and Dylan Singer. Services were held Saturday, November 7, 2009 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Rev. Carlos H. Coop and Rev. Gary E. Cash officiating. Comments also provided by her sister, Audrey Murphy. Burial was in the Perkins Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Sells, Rick A. Wray, Kevin Garner, Michael Garner, Chris Flowers, Dale Taylor, Bobby Garner, Keith Monday, Lonnie Wheeler, Greg Dicken, Terry Wright, Jeff Jennings and Norman Thompson.
