Jerry Holman

Jerry Holman, 63, of Magnolia, KY, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
A native of Fayette County, he was a son of the late Raymond and Nadine Twyman Holman, was retired from IBM, a member of Meadowthrope Baptist Church in Lexington, was a member of the U.S. Marines Reserves and a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Holman is survived by his wife, Janet Hurt Holman of Magnolia; two children: Anthony Holman of Lexington, Laura Suding of Magnolia, and one brother, Larry Holman of Lancaster, KY. Three grandchildren: Brian and Kevin Mackie, Sarah Holman and several other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Holman.
Private burial was held in Lexington Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the donor's local Food Bank or Animal Shelter.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
