Carl W. Mudd

Carl W. Mudd, age 62 years of Leitchfield, KY passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at his home.
He was born on April 3, 1947 in Grayson County, KY.
He was the son of the late S. V. Mudd.
He is survived by his mother Lavanna Hack Scott of Greensburg, KY; his wife of thirteen years Mary Higdon Mudd; one son, Jeff Parker (B.J.); three sisters: Jenny Humphress and her husband, Malcolm of Knifley, KY., Sharon Hovious and her husband, Phillip of Knifley, KY amd Wilma Reeves and her husband, Norman of Louisville, KY; one granddaughter, two grandsons, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death two sisters: Joyce Ann Mudd and Etta Jane Mason.
He was a farmer and a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.
Funeral service was held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Graylin Hayes officiating.
Interment in the Wilson Cemetery.
