Chester L. Hill

Chester L. Hill, age 90, of House Springs, Missouri formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Chester was retired from 3M Company and a World War II and Korean War veteran.
He was the son of the late Elic and Katie Coomer Hill of Adair County, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bergheger Hill on January 2, 1996.
He is survived by one son, Gary L. Hill and his wife, Julie of House Springs, MO; two brothers: Airy Hill of Jamestown, KY and Thomas Hill of Knoxville, TN; five sisters: Ruby Spicer of North Vernon, IN, Hazel Neal of Kankakee, IL, Matrie Roach of Bridgeview, IL, Flossie Garmon of Columbia, KY, Cecile Harvey of Columbia, KY; two grandchildren: Gary L. Hill Jr. of Shiloh, IL, Dion Hill of Lockport, IL; and five great granddaughters: Cassandra, Gabriel, Alexandra, Kayla, and Cheyenne Hill. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Moll Funeral Home in Moll Funeral Home in Muscoutah, Illinois with Rev. Jack Spratte officiating.
Burial in the Muscoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, Illinois.
