Dwight Wayne Gaskin

Dwight Wayne Gaskin, 63, of Columbia, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at his home after an illness.
A native of Russell County, he was the son of the late Alvin and Iola Swanson Gaskin and a retired truck driver after 35 years and was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Gaskin.
He is survived by his wife Gail Wilson Gaskin of Columbia; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Gary Copley of Dunnville, Tammy and Steve Wheeler of Columbia, and Tara and Mark Graham of Greensburg. Three grandchildren: Michelle Copley, Kobe and Kali Graham also survive.
Funeral service was held on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs with Bro. Donnie Emerson officiating.
Casket Bearers were: George Johnson, Alan Reed, Mike Stephens, Donnie Kerr, Danny Kerr, and Dwight Miller.
Honorary Casket Bearers were: Glen Cofer, Gary Gaskin, Mike Bogger, Bobby Burton, and Dale Russell.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
