Woman Arrested On Drug Charges

An Adair County woman was arrested Sunday afternoon on drug charges following a traffic stop in Columbia.
According to a news release from the Columbia Police Department, at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday, Sgt. Jason Cross made a traffic stop on Burkesville Street.
Following the stop, Elisha Bunch, 30, of Columbia was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree - methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance second degree and public intoxication.
Bunch was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Sgt. Cross was assisted by CPD Officer Kevin Atwood and Deputy Sheriff Charles Greer.
